Due to the Covid-19 emergency and the related health threat, we have decided to postpone the final conference. The Final Conference new date will be communicated as soon as possible according to the evolution of the emergency.

The Bolster-Up II final seminar will take place on Wednesday 18th March 2020  at the Factory of the Future – Van Hoecke NV,  Europark-Noord 9, 9100 Sint-Niklaas.

The Bolster-Up II projects aims to contribute to EU policy-making in the field of professional European skills, competences, qualifications and occupations. To this end, the project developed an analysis of three professions: upholsterer, joiner and cabinet maker. In this respect, final report has been elaborated. WOODWIZE coordinated the research activities.

This seminar marks the end of the Bolster-Up II project and it will be the opportunity to present and discuss the final report and the guide produced.

Bolster-Up II project was launched in 2018. The project will end on March 31st 2020. The final result will be presented in a Memorandum of Understanding, a formal commitment to mutual recognition of qualifications and competences for the three core profiles, that have been analysed in the (industrial) furniture sector. The participating countries are Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden.
